Description

The island of Nisyros is famous for the volcano and for its wild beauty and striking colors. We depart with the boat from Kardamena to Nisyros, which takes only 45 minutes. Then a short bus journey takes you over 2000ft into the breathtaking terraced hills before descending into the valley where the volcanic crater lies. You can walk inside the caldera and see the bubbling mud-holes and steaming springs of this active volcano!
